At Bama, we are an industrial automation company,
headquartered in Getafe, Madrid, from where we provide industrial automation services to local businesses. Being close to our clients allows us to guarantee efficient, personalised service.
Madrid: a multi-sector industrial hub
The province of Madrid stands out for its diversified industry, which includes sectors such as aerospace, automotive, technology, and tourism. Getafe, in particular, is a key industrial hub within the region. The city is home to major companies such as Airbus, which has consolidated its presence with one of the largest aerospace complexes in Europe. In Getafe, Airbus designs, manufactures, and assembles components for commercial and military aircraft, as well as satellites and space structures, positioning the city as a global benchmark in the aerospace industry.
In addition to its strong aerospace sector, Getafe has a diversified economy that includes metallurgy, the food industry, and the production of furniture and textiles. The city has five industrial parks that attract numerous companies and generate a significant number of jobs. This industrial development is complemented by an emerging services industry, driven by the construction of shopping centres and entertainment areas. Thanks to this combination of industrial and service sectors, Getafe contributes significantly to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the Community of Madrid and, therefore, of Spain.
