1997. BAMA is founded as an initiative by two technicians from PIANELLI & TRAVERSA ESPAÑOLA.


2001. Expansion of business activity by bringing into the company numerous professionals dedicated to industrial mechanical assembly and maintenance.


2002. Expansion of our headquarters in Madrid, moving into spacious, modern facilities designed especially for the development of engineering projects.


2005. The BAMA GROUP is founded. From the ambition for continuous improvement, POWER T.E. emerges, a company created by BAMA’s current management to meet the high demand for engineering work and technical studies, thus creating the BAMA GROUP.


2010. New sales office in Elche, expanding BAMA’s commercial presence in the Levante region.


2011. Continuing with the BAMA Group’s expansion and diversification policy, business relationships are established in new sectors.


2013. The group’s companies are unified and standardised under a single brand: BAMA.


2015. Expansion of the Barcelona branch with facilities equipped for the development of engineering and production projects, located in Sant Andreu de la Barca.


2018. New sales office in Pamplona, expanding BAMA’s commercial presence in northern Spain.


2020. Expansion of the central facilities in Getafe, with a new 2,000 m2 industrial unit, thereby providing the company with greater engineering and production capacity.


2022. As part of BAMA’s expansion policy, the first branch outside Spain is established in Lisbon, Portugal.


2024. Expansion of the Elche branch with facilities equipped for the development of engineering and production projects.


OBJECTIVE: Industrial research and the creation of synergies in two use cases:

  • Vertical enabling technologies such as additive manufacturing of metal parts and their post-processing on the one hand, and on the other, new processes based on human-robot collaborative robotics, such as the robotisation of packaging in warehouses.
  • To drive these technologies through the use of Artificial Intelligence, IoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and machine vision, leading to digitised manufacturing processes with less waste, greater versatility and higher quality.

Implementation period: 1 October 2022 – 31 December 2024.

ELECTRONICS AND MAINTENANCE BAMA, S.L has received funding for the cooperative project “FLEXCA – Research into intelligent automation aimed at highly flexible processes in the meat sector”, within the flagship project CARNITY – Innovation for the ecological and digital transition of the national meat industry and its associated value chain, which has been financed through grants for industrial strengthening actions in the agri-food sector under the Strategic Project for Agri-food Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE AGRO), within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union and managed by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism.

Thanks to this funding, the FLEXCA project is being carried out with the aim of deepening knowledge of innovative techniques that enable optimal automation of production processes with a high manual workload in the meat industry, with a budget of €604,687.00. The project is being developed at the company’s facilities in Madrid between April 2023 and June 2025.
